Hi,

This has been a very good (and very busy) year for Now Software.  Version 5 of Now Up-to-Date & Contact for Mac has been a big success – with the fastest upgrade and new unit sales that we’ve seen in our 7-year history with the product. I’d like to thank all of you and hope you continue to use and benefit from our products.

In addition, we’ve just released the full Universal version of Now Up-to-Date & Contact for Mac, meaning it now runs native on Intel-based Macs. If you haven’t tried out one of these new Macs yet, let me just say this: wow. They are wicked fast. NUDC launches so quickly on my new Macbook Pro that it looks like it was already running.

Here’s something a lot of you have asked about: we’re running a promotion that might help out a lot of home users – the Family Pack promotion. Whenever I go to Macworld or meet with customers, they often tell me “I love Now Up-to-Date & Contact, but it’s too expensive for me to buy for the whole family.” I personally use NUDC as much for scheduling for my family as I do for work. One of the other areas we’ve been concentrating on is significantly improving our technical support. We’ve been hiring new technicians and have been adding more online tools, including our new Customer Center: http://www.nowsoftware.com/customerCenter. In the next few weeks we’ll roll out our new online support system, which I think will improve your experience of asking for and receiving product support – and hopefully make it faster, too!
