How to link a calendar event to a contact

Description: Now Up-to-Date & Contact 5 allows you to collect and grow information about all of your interaction with customers, prospects, and vendors (friends and family, too!). One of the simplest methods is to link appointments and meetings you schedule on your calendar to specific contacts

Linking calendar events to specific contacts

  1. From your calendar, select an event and double click it to open the Event Info window.

    The Event Info window appears.
  2. Click on the Find Contact  button in the Event Info window toolbar.

    The Find Contact dialog box appears.
  3. Type the contact's name or just a few letters of the name and click Find.

    A list of contacts is displayed in the Found Contacts window.
  4. Select the desired contact from the list and click Attach to Event.

    The contact is now linked to this event. You can add additional contacts by repeating this process.
  5. If the contact you want is not in your address book you can click the New Contact icon and enter the basic information. The contact will be added to your address book and linked to this event.
